ALLAH IS COMMANDING THE PROPHET PEACE AND MERCY OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM TO TELL THE DISBELIEVERS OPENLY AND CLEARLY THAT HE WOULD NOT WORSHIP THEIR FALSE GODS, NOT NOW, NOT EVEN IN THE FUTURE. HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT TO JOIN ANY PARTNER WITH ALLAH. SUMMARY IN THE SAME MANNER THE DISBELIEVERS WOULD NOT WORSHIP ALLAH ALONE, BECAUSE THEY DO SHIRK. THEY WORSHIP OTHERS WITH ALLAH ANGELS, PEOPLE, MAN-MADE IDOLS AND THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ISLAM. SO ALLAH TELLS THE PROPHET PEACE AND MERCY OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM TO SEPARATE HIMSELF FROM THEIR WORSHIP AND THEIR SHIRK. LESSONS WE SHOULD WORSHIP ALLAH ALONE WITH SINCERITY. WORSHIP MEANS TO DO WHAT ALLAH LOVES AND WHAT PLEASES HIM. SHIRK IS ANYTHING THAT WE ARE ATTACHED TO AND WORSHIP OTHER THAN ALLAH. ALLAH HATES SHIRK AND WE MUST STAY AWAY FROM IT. DID YOU KNOW? SURAH AL KAFIROON AND SURAH AL IKHLAS ARE BOTH CALLED SURAHS OF IKHLAS’, BECAUSE THEY BOTH TEACH US ABOUT TAWHEED. IT IS THE SUNNAH OF THE PROPHET PEACE AND MERCY OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM TO RECITE SURAH AL KAFIROON AND SURAH AL IKHLAS IN THE FAJR AND MAGHRIB VOLUNTARY PRAYERS.
